A HOUSE UNDER CONSTRUCTION |
A HOUSE IN A BOX
This wonderful house from MINI MUNDUS was a X-Mas gift from my hubby. I'll always remember how exited I was about receiving that big box. The picture of the finished house on the box just gave me the shivers and I wanted to start working on it the same night, but finally I didn't ...... it was Christmas after all.

FIRST GLIMPSE INSIDE THE BOX
Well, here is what I saw when I opened the box, the bigger wooden parts on top and all the small stuff, neatly packed, underneath.

SECOND GLIMPSE
In this kit, all doors, windows, roof shingles, staircase, etc. were included.

1st TRY ASSEMBLING
This is something you should always do in a first place with a house kit. Assemble it, keep the parts in place with tape, just to have an idea how big it really is, to see if no part's missing and of course, to make up your mind which room is gonna be the kitchen, the living room, etc.
It is quite important to do that before you really start working.

ONE OF THE ROOMS
At this stage of "construction", I had already finished most of the wall papering or painting, the floors. If I do remember correctly, I was installing the lights here.

A HOUSE UNDER CONTRUCTION
This gives you a idea of how much work this is. That's how the house looked after 2 1/2 months, and nothing was done on the outside so far.

THE FINAL RESULT
And finally, this is what it looked like a year later. I used a lot of furniture here which I bought ready to use, and a little less furniture that I made myself. But the result is amazing.
