These japanese lanters are made from a printable project. As usual, I found those at www.printmini.com
Just select, print, cut out and ............ find the place for it !! All you need is a good printer and a few different sorts of paper. I thought I could use these for my garden party.

This is a picture of my parents when they got married. I'm using a very simple technique here, which does of course require a few things like a good computer with Adobe Photoshop installed, a scanner and again a good printer with different types of photo paper.
First, you scan the picture and import it to Adobe Photoshop. Then you select the image and resize it to the right scale. Then you print it on a good quality photo paper, cut it out, put it in a frame and there you go : your very own family pictures for your dollhouse.
Tip : since good quality photo paper is expensive, you should not print 1 single tiny picture and then cut it out. Once you cut out one piece of the paper, it will be rather difficult to use it again in your printer. You should maybe scan more pictures or even copy some you found on the Internet and print them all at the same time on 1 piece of paper.
The easiest way to do this is with Microsoft Publisher, but you're of course free to use whatever software you have at your disposal.

This tiger skin rug is a printable project too. The only different here is that you print it directly to special fabric, available from HP for example. Most of the printables are already the correct size. Some Websites even offer different scales to print, like 1:12 or 1:24 or even smaller.

When I first came up with the idea that the Pembroke Grange should become an italian villa, I started to look for the right paintings to hang on the walls. I found a few websites with great paintings from very talented people and all I had to do is copy and paste the picture from the Internet to my PC, get it down to the right scale and print it on photo paper. I made some frames myself of course and there I had my paintings.
