The latest addition to my german villa was a roof garden, devided in 2 parts, a sun deck and a potting shed. I always had the idea of adding something up there on that nice, flat top of the roof and while surfing the Internet, ideas often begin to take place.
Since there was enough space up there, I thought about how nice it would be for the people living in that house to have the opportunity of having a nice sun deck, since there is no big garden around the house.
But I also like the idea of having a potting shed, because there are so many flowers around the house and especially the roof garden, so there must be a place where all these plants and flowers are being potted.

In real life, I do enjoy having all sorts of flowers around me in my garden during these few spring and summer months. Of course, in my miniature house, it's exactly the same.

While working on that roof garden, I worked on both parts seperately all the time and really enjoy the view after putting them together.

What would be a sun deck on the top roof of your house without sun chairs ? I painted them in red because I just love that color and I wanted to add a little color touch to the whole thing. I also made that little table out of scratch with a glass top.

The shed has a stone wall in the back, made with that magic stone system; easy to apply with a wonderful result for stone, slat, bric, stucco, etc.
Magic Miniature Masonry by Magic Systems, available a most dollhouse shops.
The bricks on the floor are from a sheet.

As you can see, there is a lot of work going on, as this potting table shows.

As usual, I always try to pay attention to as much detail as possible, to make my mini world look as realistic as possible.
