THE ROOF GARDEN |
ON TOP OF THE ROOF
After we had moved into our new house, some of my dollhouses had suffered a little. Especially the German Dollhouse was not in a very good condition and it took me weeks to repair it. That's when the idea came up to add a garden to the flat top of the house. The funny thing is, after I finished that garden, I surfed through the Internet one day and discovered another one, on exactly the same house (Mini Mundus Kit). Funny how we miniaturists think alike sometimes.
The garden is divided in two parts, one part has a nice little shed to work in and store all kinds of stuff you might need.

THE FENCE
The whole little garden has a fence around it, since it is on the top of the house, I though it might look a little more secure to walk around. The fince was bought in a dollhouse shop, just need a little sanding and color.

A LOOK FROM ABOVE
This picture allows a good look at the entire project. I also made a different flooring for each of the 2 parts of the garden.

THE SUN DECK
As the second part is kind of a sun deck, I had to add these 2 chairs, painted in red, my favorite color, as you must have guessed by now. I made the little table and the palm tree on it. The other 2 palm trees which are made of plastic. I got those 2 from a miniature shop, ready to be put in place.

INSIDE THE SHED
Here"s another potting table I made myself. I think if you have such a big house, the least you need is a little place to be able to pot your plants. And of course, I needed to fill my little shed.
